Hotel management also called as hospitality management. The hospitality management course is becoming popular now days when there is growth in tourism industry. The course covers the study of food and beverage, housekeeping, accounting, marketing, interacting with customers, public relations, financial management and other things needed in hotel.

The size and magnitude of hotel management varies according to the size and function of hotel. A small hotel normally consists of a small core management team consisting of the General Manager and a few key department managers who directly handle day-to-day operations whereas the big hotel operates more like a large corporation headed by general manager and consisting of directors serving as heads.

The public relationship manager interacts with hotel guests or customers extract their feedback and provide solutions appropriate to their problems while they are staying in the hotel. Many of the time he has to face the face customer’s problems so he has to remain calm and listen to customers properly.
