The trenchless technology is a type of construction system which doesn’t need any trenches or, in some cases, few trenches. It means a group of things, like, pipes, materials, machinery and techniques which are used to fit, install or change the underground pipe system without causing any disruption to the environment or traffic. It is widely used in the construction and the engineering fields. It is used to install different type of pipes, including the gas pipes, water pipes, electricity and telecommunication pipes, sewer pipes and many more.
Trenchless technology has many benefits compared to the open cut or other methods. Some of the benefits/advantages of trenchless method are mentioned below.
