In fact, researchers at ATRII (Advanced Telecommunications Research Institute International) have successfully implemented this technology. They were able to process the images from a human brain and then transform them into pictorial images and eventually displayed on a computer screen.
The technology is still in its nascent stage. At this stage of its development, it can only reproduce simple images from a human brain. However, as the time progress, it will eventually be able to analyze dreams and secrets from people’s mind. Many scientists believe that this is the first time in the history that people can visualize their dreams coming directly from their brains. What’s more, you can use this technology to record your dreams and replay it whenever you want it.
How do they work?
When a person looks at an object, the retina of the eye will recognize it immediately. It is then converted into electrical signals and sent to visual cortex of the brain. As an experiment in this regard, three people were asked to look at two hundred different pictures on a 100-pixel screen. The researchers were able to recognize subtle changes in the brain activities of these three people with the help of a MRI scanner. They were thus able to visualize what these people were looking at. The scientists are of the belief that this technology can be effectively used in medical psychology and as an effective communicational tool.

As and when this technology is fully developed, it can be used in many applications like in entertainment, medical fields and so on. As there could be a possibility of storing our dreams via this technology, we can use them to study in detail and see what can be done to put them into practice and achieve the desired results.
