In the world of internal auditors being a CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) is the international standard by which the authenticity and credibility of an auditor is measured and recognized. The IA-CIA-Part3 is the third part of a four part test. The third part is Business Analysis and Information Technology. The CIA is offered by the collaboration of the International Association of Auditors and Mount Royal. The exam is taken in four separate sittings, one for each part. The course work for the CIA including the IIA Certified Internal Auditor – Part 3, Business Analysis and Information Technology are all based on the syllabus approved by and based on the CIA Learning System by International Institute of Auditors (IIA). The CIA Learning System is also a tool and program for the preparation of the exam. The review courses are also offered by Mount Royal in association with the NIU (Northern University of Illinois). The IA-CIA-Part3 consists of 90 questions which are multiple choice and the time period allotted for the test is two hours and twenty five minutes (145 minutes).
