Activities at ERA Business School

Highlights of the recent activities at ERA Business School Students of Era Business School(EBS), Dwarka, New Delhi have bagged the first position in LAN gaming competition conducted by Apeejay School of Management. A total of eight teams including IITM, Kanpur University and the host Apeejay School of Management participated.

Ajay Khurana, Akshay Jawarani, Malepati Partha Sardhi, Rachit Arora and Anand Totla represented Era Business School and were felicitated with Gold medals and Certificates.

Corporate Games 2014 were organised by Col.O.P.Bhatia(Retd.) and his team of students from ERA Business School from 20th Nov to 23rd Nov, 2014 at Siri Fort Sports Complex . 40 companies participated in these games this year with about 450 participants from various companies such as Cairon India, Air India, Rail tel, IndusInd Bank, FCI, Schenider Electriv, HDFC etc. They took part in Badminton, Football, Cricket, Volley Ball, Table Tennis, Lawn Tennis, Billiards etc.

A total of 16 students of Era Business School(EBS) formed the volunteer team for conducting the games under the overall supervision of col OP Bhatia(Retd.). The students were required to ensure availability of the resources for conduct of the games, their optimum utilization, organizing prize distribution and where needed, resolving conflicts between teams.

Mr. GS Randhawa, was the Guest of Honor at the closing Ceremony. He was appreciative of the contribution of the students of EBS in making the games a success.

Horizon – HR club organized Maslow’s Mania – HR quiz as a part of club activity on 5th December, 2014 in the seminar hall of Era Business School. HR faculty Incharge Professor Dr. Manisha Vijayran, Professor Subramaniam and PGP manager Miss Neha were present.

Opening, hosting and closing of quiz were addressed by Ashish Kumar Singh and Sagrika Singhal of batch 2014-16. The entire handling of gifts and certificates was done by Monika Chauhan of batch 2014-16 and scoreboard was managed by Iqbal Ansari of batch 2014-16.

Five teams participated in the quiz and Team C which included Surbhi Rajput, Prachi Chauhan and Harmeet Singh Jassal won the quiz. First runners up was team E with members as Jaideep Singh and Ankita and second runner up was team A with members as Naveen Bareja , Rohit Badhuria and Ashish Jha.

Professor Subramaniam did the honors of awarding certificates and gifts to the winning team and runners up. The winning team was awarded certificates, a tie to male participants and scarves to the female participants. Runners up were awarded certificates.
